Funded by Peace Parks Foundation with funding from KFW, The objective of the Consultant’s assignment is to provide expertise in engineering, design and construction supervision to provide sustainable improvement of the water supply system at Thazima and surrounding communities in order to improve the livelihoods of the staff and the local communities in and around the Thazima gate at Nyika in Rumphi District.

The Consultant shall investigate, develop, propose and implement specifically tailored and optimized measures, while taking into account the expected local changes of climate change, future development, ecosystem aspects and the financial and time constraints of the Project.

The project will serve an estimated 40,000 persons and install an Intake, Treatment Plant, Storage Reservoirs and install an estimated 90km of Pipeline.
